How moving your site to Flagstage works
What happens between entering your web address and your site going live with us.

Moving in is included on every plan, and your current website stays live the whole time. Here's the full sequence.
1. Tell us your current website
Enter your web address on our Get started page. You'll create your Account login, tell us the name of your business, and accept our Terms of Service.
2. We copy your public site
As soon as your Account is set up, we start importing the website your visitors see today — every page, photo, and file we can reach from your homepage. We don't need your old login, and we never change anything on your current site.
3. We check the copy
Our team reviews the imported site: pages, links, images, forms, and how it looks on a phone. If something on the original was already broken, this is usually when it gets fixed.
4. You review it
Your Account Home shows your site and where the move-in stands. When the copy is ready, you'll get a link to review it — the same way you'll review every change from then on.
5. We switch your domain
When you're happy, we give you the exact records to update at your domain registrar and confirm the switch from our side. See Connecting your domain.
