What counts as an update?

The everyday stuff: hours, prices, photos, text changes, a new promotion, a new page for a service you've added. If a request is a bigger project — say, a full redesign — we'll tell you up front and agree on it before any work starts. No surprise invoices, ever.

Do I have to move my domain name?

No rush and no risk. Your domain (yourbusiness.com) stays yours no matter what. When you're ready, we point it at your new home — we handle the technical part and time it so nothing goes dark. Your email keeps working exactly as it does today.

Do I need to buy an SSL certificate?

No. The padlock in the browser — a proper HTTPS certificate for your site — comes with hosting. We issue it, keep it current, and renew it automatically. It's never a separate product and never an extra bill. If you've been quoted hundreds of dollars a year for one of these, that's not how this works here.

Do you charge extra if my site gets busy?

No. Visitor traffic is included in the monthly price. We do not add a traffic overage to your bill. If traffic looks like an attack, or would cost more to serve than the plan can cover, we may take the site offline until we sort it out with you.

What happens to my old website?

Nothing, until you say so. We copy your site rather than touching the original. Once you're happy on Flagstage, you can cancel the old service and stop paying for it — we're glad to help you figure out what's safe to shut off.

What if I want to leave?

Then you leave with everything. A complete copy of your site is available for download after every approved update — standard files any web host can use. We think that's exactly why you'll stay.

Do I need to learn any software?

No. If you can send a text message, you can work with us. You describe the change, we make it, you look at a preview link and say yes or no. That's the entire skill set required.

How does the free trial work?

Sign up, and we do the real move-in: your site, imported and set up properly, with your first change request included. If it's not for you, cancel within the trial and you won't be charged — and you can still keep the copy of your site.

What if my site is a store?

We can host the rest of the site — about, gallery, contact — and leave checkout where it is. We will not pretend we imported a cart.
