How do I choose a plan?
Start on Starter. You can move up a plan anytime if you need more room.
Is this just website hosting?
Hosting is included, but that isn't the product. Flagstage looks after the website: we move it in, make the changes you ask for, show you a preview, and keep a history you can roll back. Compare it to hiring someone to maintain the site, not to a cheap hosting account.
What counts as an everyday change?
The routine updates that keep your site current: editing text, adding or replacing photos, updating hours, prices or promotions, small layout tweaks, and adding one new page that uses your site's existing design. Those use your weekly allowance. If the ask is bigger than that, we'll talk it through before any work starts.
What if I need more changes?
Every plan includes a weekly allowance for everyday changes. Need more room? You can move up a plan anytime. There are no overage charges.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. Annual is 12 months for the price of 10. Your weekly allowance still resets every Monday. The only refund is a full refund within 14 days of your first annual payment.
Do I have to move my domain name?
No rush and no risk. Your domain (yourbusiness.com) stays yours no matter what. When you're ready, we'll walk you through what to change and when, so nothing goes dark. Your email keeps working exactly as it does today.
Do I need to buy an SSL certificate?
No. The padlock in the browser — a proper HTTPS certificate for your site — comes with hosting. We issue it, keep it current, and renew it automatically. It's never a separate product and never an extra bill. If you've been quoted hundreds of dollars a year for one of these, that's not how this works here.
Do you charge extra if my site gets busy?
Visitor traffic is included in the monthly price. We do not add a traffic overage to your bill. If traffic looks like an attack, or would cost more to serve than the plan can cover, we may take the site offline until we sort it out with you.
What happens to my old website?
Nothing, until you say so. We copy your site rather than touching the original. Once you're happy on Flagstage, you can cancel the old service and stop paying for it — we're glad to help you figure out what's safe to shut off.
What if I want to leave?
Then you leave with everything. A complete copy of your site is available for download after every approved update — standard files any web host can use. We think that's exactly why you'll stay.
Do I need to learn any software?
No. You describe the change, we make it, you look at a preview link and say yes or no. That's the entire skill set required.
What happens after I get started?
Create your Account and we start importing the public website you already have. Your current site stays live while we check the imported copy. Billing starts when you choose a plan.
What if my site is a store?
We can host the rest of the site — about, gallery, contact — and leave checkout where it is.
