Writing a request that gets it right the first time
A few details that save a round of back-and-forth.
Updated
You don't need special wording. But a few details help us get a change right on the first preview.
Say where
"On the homepage, under the big photo" or "on the Services page, in the water heater section." If you're not sure what a section is called, describe what's near it.
Say what, exactly
Include the exact text when it matters — prices, hours, phone numbers, names. Copy and paste from your notes if you can.
Say when
If a change should go live on a specific date, or come down on one, tell us. For example: "Post this on November 20 and take it down December 1."
Mention photos and files
If your change needs new photos or documents, say so in your request and we'll reply with the best way to send them. Tell us which photo goes where.
Group related changes
Several changes to the same page can go in one message. Unrelated changes are easier to track as separate requests.
